Past Hells Bells Courses
A great way to get a sense of what Hells Bells or Fairy Bells is all about, and to see if you’re up for the challenges is to check out past courses. Below is all the information that teams receive ahead of a Hells Bells or Fairy Bells event, including the Information Pack they receive a few weeks before the race and the Map, Course Notes and Control Card they receive on the day.
Kenilworth 2022
Notorious for it’s steep hills and red mud when there is rain, the 2022 course was a testing ground for everyone that attempted it.
Mooloolabah 2021
Mooloolaba has been the HQ of many editions of the Hells Bells Adventure Race. This year teams started with an ocean Kayak (a first for Hells Bells) and headed up the Mooloola River.
Rainbow Beach 2020
Hells Bells has been to Rainbow Beach twice now, it will definitely go back! There may be no hills, but that doesn’t mean the mountain biking is easy!
Cotton Tree 2019
We’d heard rumours of a route from Mapleton to Maroochydore entirely off road that was about 100kms long. We knew we had to make a Hells Bells Course out of it. This course included a bonus trek for elite teams to attempt.
Noosa 2018
Noosa is a magnificent part of the work with so many options for courses! The year included a series of bonus check points that teams could collect, for them to be valid, they needed to be back before the course cut-off!
